Professional Bullshiting Learning (Problem Based Learning)
A university subject students are forced to take which has no actual practical nor theoretical applications. Somebody managed to write textbooks about PBL containing nothing but pure bullshit rephrased in million different ways about group work. You could probably learn more from watching paint dry than to take this course.
Example 1:
Student A: Hey, have you read the pages for PBL today?
Student B: Yes, I did look into wall.
Example 2:
Student A: What did you guys learn about last PBL lecture?
Student B: How to bullshit my way into a passing grade.

Term used in the sport of rowing (a.k.a. Crew) for a boat moving so slow relative to the rest of the boats in the race that the Launch carrying the Race Officials passes the slow boat to keep up with the pack of competitive boats.
Boats that PBL usually finish DFL (Dead Fucking Last).
