Piggybacking

Taking advantage of the roommate dish-washing routine.

When your roommate has not yet washed their pot or pan, and it is still clean enough to swish water in and cook your own meal. You then leave it where you found it so they can wash it.

Only legitimate if the roommate is unaware of your use.

I've been piggybacking Sarah's pasta pot for a week, and it hasn't moved. I'm pretty sure we're just piggybacking each other at this point.

Piggybacking

The act of requesting someone as a friend on a social media site, who is a mutal friend of one of your friends only for the sole purpose of snooping and being nosey on their profile.

When your girlfriend/boyfriend has a friend and you think that friend may possibly want to be with your mate, so you request them just so you can check out what they do on their profile. This is considered piggybacking.
