pillo

Puerto Rican slang for a thief. Someone who robs. The spanish equivalent would be ladron. Only people from PR use this. So saying this to other hispanics from other countries would probably confuse them.

¡Oye! ¡Este "pillo" robó mi dinero!
English Translation: Hey! This thief took my money!
"Standard" Spanish Translation:¡Oye! ¡Este ladron robó mi dinero!

pillo polo

A game very similar to hockey, but played with sticks with foam on the end of them. Referred to by most guys as the "girly" sport when compared to hockey, real professionals know that pillo polo is actually more competative and you are much more prone to injuries.

Guy 1: hey man, they gave us a choice between hockey and pillo polo in gym today, I think I'm gonna pick hockey.
Guy 2: pussy.
Guy 1: WHAT? hockey is the manly sport.
Guy 2: No way, the other day in pillo polo Brian broke THREE FINGERS!

Short for Lupillo which in itself is already short for men who are named Guadalupe. If a man is nicknamed Pillo its likely his name is Guadalupe

His name is Jose Guadalupe but his family and friends also call him Pillo or Lupillo.
