post season depression

The feeling of loss that comes after watching the last available episode of a television show.

"Are you ok?"

"No. I just finished the last episode of Mad Men, and I'm suffering from post season depression...you haven't seen it you wouldn't understand."

Post-season Depression

A period of minor depression following the end of a sports season. It is most common in high school athletes.

Person 1: “Damn, I just ain’t been right since the track season ended”
Person 2: “You got some post-season depression”
