When you can see what's going to happen, and it happens anyways
Im in a predictament. The train is coming, but my car is trapped in the gates.
1. n. A bad or ill-fated outcome that one predicted would happen in advance.
2. n. An unpleasantly difficult, perplexing, or dangerous situation that a person had the foresight to see in advance, yet for some reason chose to proceed with anyway.
Dammit, I knew I would end up in this predictament.
