rstrui

'rstrui' is a shortened term for the Windows application known as 'rstrui.exe'.

This application acts as a system restore function, and is commonly used to restore system files in the event of corruption or accidental deletion of said files. It is also used to remedy software issues by resetting some aspects of the computer's operating system to factory defaults.

rstrui.exe can also retrace data to a specified point in time, prior to it being altered.
