Descibing someone or something that is worse than butters <---(very ugly)
So it therefore describes someone or something that is worse than very ugly.
"That girl is scrutters"
"That top your waring is scrutters"
"I ate a pie last night and it was scrutters mate!"

A scrutter is someone who does manual tasks outside - they enjoy pottering about and making things. Sometimes they will be covered in soil, sometimes they will have splinters in their fingers and a callus as big as an egg. But they know there's nothing better than going out for a good old scrut in te nature. And they'll sure be out scruttin tomorrow.
