sexism tax

The cost a company pays for systematically not hiring and/or promoting women. If the best person for the job truly is a woman, but the company refuses to hire or promote her then the company will pay in the long run.

If Law Firm X will not employee a female lawyer, but she then revolutionist the industry by catering to an untapped market then Law Firm X pays a sexism tax. More examples can be found in the Book Why Men Earn More.
