Smaugh

To laugh and smile at the same time.

Ali let out a smaugh, upon hearing about the intricacies of growing old and generally not caring.

Luna Smaughed at the thought of a tiny giraffe.

“Who the hell names themselves (Pillow)? A smaugh flashed across my face

Smaugh's Lair

A word to describe the Steam (or other) library of a gamer who does not adhere by the philosophy of finishing all games present on said library. Of a gamer who simply hoards games on sale, then keeps those games safe inside their lair, only deciding to play those games when they feel like it.

This is the directly contesting definition to the word "backlog" commonly used when referring to a list of games, implying the need to finish all games present in said backlog, as is the original definition of the term backlog in working environments.

If you hoard games on sale with absolutely no intention on playing them until you feel like it, or have hoarded games in the past with the intention of playing all of them then eventually stopped playing video games with that mindset, feel free to refer to your library as your "Smaugh's Lair" (an obvious reference to the cavern of the dragon Smaugh in the Hobbit movies, filled with gold to never be used by the dragon).

-Hey what's your backlog looking like?
-It's not a backlog. It is a grand cavern filled with riches and treasures, safeguarded by me, the great hoarding dragon. My lair. Smaugh's Lair.
