the tubes

When I was browsing the tubes last night I found a hillarous video of a fat woman being stabbed in the eye with a fork.

In the tube

Phrase meaning - Fully reachable through on-line chat, email, and phone. Typically used in an collaborative work setting to denote that you will be out of office, but easily reachable. Originating in the southeast, it may be a derivation stemming from the old office mail suction tubes - "able to be reached through the tubes".

I'm working from home today "in the tube".

tubed

When a server is overloaded by over-zealous using.

Althought the term was created by PA, tubing is not only through their linking to other pages.

The forum was totally tubed cos people (you know who you are) were posting all this useless stuff.
