tone on tone

When two colors are used next to each other that are only subtly different from one another.

I got gray flames painted on my white GMC Yukon for that "tone on tone" look.

Tone is a really good friend with a girlfriend named Emma. I said “Tone Tone” because it would be easier to find. Anyways, yea, he’s cool.
