n. Literally, "the rule of thugs." While brutality is a key element of any tyranny, a trauponcracy not only is run with brutality, but incompetence and demagoguery as well. I can also include plundering wealth to bribe the masses.

There is a thin line between trauponcracy and incompetocracy.
