Yanop

Yanop, a verb. Pronounced “YĀ NOOP” as one word.

Yanop is a clash between “Yeah” and “Nope”. It’s a way of saying you can’t decide on something, or it’s that you change your mind on something last second after saying it. When you use the word “yanop” it could sound weird. But the pronunciation is “Yaa noop” spelled out, it doesn’t sound strange, but saying it is harder.

Betty: “Hey! Do you want to go to the dog park with me to pick Buster up?”
Ceil: “Oh, sure- yanop.”
Betty: “Why not?”
Ceil: “I forgot I had work to do.”

Other example:
Denis: “Dude, did you see how my likes went up on that TikTok I posted? Wouldn’t be surprised if it went viral!”
Y: “Eh, I don’t know man, only 8 views. *refreshes page* yanop- I was wrong.”
