Short for middle, Mid is generally a synonymous term with mediocre, in some instances replacing the word “meh.”
1. Average; uncommon; mediocre.
2. Usually referring to some form of media or entertainment, i.e movies; mid-tier.
3. Derogatory for when someone or something is of such quality that it is neither good nor bad, making it less than fair; lackluster.
4. Usually referring to something that isn’t preferable but still on an acceptable level; passable; adequate.
5. Underwhelming; disappointing; a let down.

Basically means trash. It's common word in anitwitter that toxic butthurt cry babies would use to describe a popular anime that they think has no character development, a generic storyline, little to no world building etc. Most of the time its the complete opposite.
