Person 1: Who's he?
Person 2: Oh, that's Jay. They're nonbinary, so they don't go by he/him pronouns, they go by they/them pronouns
Person 1: Ok well they're cute
Person 2: Yes I have eyes I can see that

An umbrella term for genders outside of the stereotyped gender binary. (Agender, bigender, Genderfluid, polygender, demi, etc.)
1 Vae uses she/he pronouns because she is bigender. He is considered to be under the nonbinary umbrella.
2 Oliver feels a lack in any gender at all, they have concluded they are agender. This puts Oliver under the nonbinary umbrella.

Not a man nor a woman. They are just a lovely valid individual that doesn’t feel right taking she/her or he/him as pronouns, or maybe they don’t mind them. All the same they are epic
