The word volumeous is used to define an entity with a large volume, not to be mistaken with Volumeort which as we all know is Voldemort's DJ nickname. I Digress. An Example of Volumeous may be:
"That Bitch looking mighty volumeous", OR "Did you see Billy's willy? Sure was volumeous", OR "Wow, Dude we bout to hit the most volumeous line of coke! Bet!"
1) To up the volume.
2) To increase the sound.
3) To louden.
A song comes on the radio that you want to hear.
"Ooh, I LOVE this song! Volumize it!"
The loudness control on a tv, radio, computer, cd player... and more.
Volume controls keeps ppl from becoming deaf.

In the past, and by volume, it has historically been about commercial motivations.
