the 4 keys that fade out on most gamer's keyboards.
Gamer 1: "I should probably get a new keyboard, the wasd keys faded..."
Gamer 2: "don't do it! thats 1337!"
The gamer's arrow keys. Used to allow easy access to both the mouse and the spacebar, when previously you had to either give up the mouse for use of the spacebar or perform difficult maneuvers with your pinky.
"Thank you, WASD, for making FPS better."
A common format used by most major gamers (not including me) that has been used for years and has been combined with the Ctrl and Space buttons with the acception of the E button. The format is the following:
W=walk/drive forward
A=strafe/turn left
S=walk/drive backward
D=strafe/turn right
Ctrl=crouch
Space=jump
E (only if the game has to have a "Use" key)=Use
The only well known competitor to WASD is the Arrow keys which is another game movement format for another Urban Dictionary page.
The player uses WASD in Battlefield 4
Common movement keys in First Person Perspective gaming
W = Forwards
A = Left
S = Backwards
D = Right
The ever-so popular controls for an average PC game, most likely a First Person Shooter. The only 4 keys to contest the almighty reign of the Arrow keys. Apparently, some people want to put an end to it. Screw them.
Use W to move forward.
Use A to move left.
Use S to move back.
Use D to move right.
And no matter how many times it's said, it's still there in the tutorials.
