An Arab word (used alot in israel al well) representing a sense of wonder. Most of the times it is used as a question.

A word very often used in dearborn, michigan (the only place ive heard ppl say it.) , an arabic term saying i swear to god in arabic...it is often used as say walla! (when they don't believe someone) or walla bro or walla cuz to confirm something others might not believe often used very much in a social matter...at my school, u would hear it 100 times a day lol true.

A cantankerous marsupial native to southeastern Australia, but has been sighted in northern Nevada and San Fransisco. Despite its legendary reputation, this creature is quite humble and kind in even the most hectic environments. It thrives in even the dusty and arid environments due to its innate ability to adapt. Often found among Darryls and Cheryls, one might say it is truly a "party animal"; they are excellent companions, and will go out of their way to spread love and joy to those who truly need it. Highly intelligent, and quite cunning, it is capable of sniffing out a good time in even the most mundane setting. Most people don't realize they need a Walla in their lives until they encounter one in the wild.
I didn't know what I was looking for at Burning Man, until I unexpectedly encountered a Walla.
"Walla" is the French Canadian pronunciation of of the French word "voilà"--a regional pronunciation that trickled down into the States because the two countries share a border.
To chalk it up to a "stupid American" pronunciation because (paraphrased) "Americans can't pronounce anything not English--and barely that" is a flat out display of ignorance and a glaring lack of diligent research; it's quite possibly an ironic display of one's own "stupidity".
To borrow from SA's example: "So I was on a cruise around the world and we were heading towards American territory again. This lady on the ship asked me who the stupidest people in the world are. Before I could answer, a stupid guy surfing UrbanDictionary pointed at himself and said 'Walla!' in his best pretend Canadian accent."
