An individual who is genderfluid experiences their sense of gender identity shift around the spectrum. They may feel like a boy one day, a girl another, or neutral, or everything at once, or nothing, or something different entirely. This is a completely normal gender identity; being genderfluid is not a mental illness. Gender has nothing do with genitals.
Being genderfluid can be hard, because there are days when I love my body, and days where I just wish it would disappear.
This is related to being transgender. It is when people sometimes feel as if they're male and sometimes as if they're female. This does not have to be related to sexuality or physical gender in any way, and is not a result of indecision.
Kerry is physically female. Sometimes she feels male and wants to be called Keiran, and sometimes she feels male and is happy being a Kerry. So Kerry is genderfluid.
Gerald is physically male. Sometimes he feels female and wants to be called Geraldine, and sometimes he feels male and is happy being a Gerald. So Gerald is also genderfluid.
Someone whose gender changes over time. Does not necessarily have to be a boy or girl, can be a mix of the two, neither, or something else entirely. Often confused for having a fluctuating gender presentation, or fluctuating levels or femininity/masculinity/androgyny.
I am genderfluid, I am a girl some days and a boy other days.
genderfluid partially fits under the transgender category.
genderfluid means that u switch genders & pronouns. a quote from a genderfluid person: "some days r she/her days, others r they/them days, & others r he/him days." i am not an expert on this gender, but i believe that it is where u identify as every gender, but feel like each on different days. it is fluid, like water, where it shifts for each day & mood.
bruddah: "hey, sis, can u pass me the remote?"
genderfluid fren: "ye, but today is a boi day. just a reminder."
Sam: Bro, recently John said that he's genderfluid.
Josh: You mean cum?
