The thing or person that inspires you to go to the gym when you don't particularly feel like going but know you should.

Typical gymspiration for women - not wanting to look fat like xyz or say, wanting a body like the latest Britney Spears or Lady Gaga video.

Gerard Butler might be gymspiration for guys, to go to the gym rather than the pub.

skinjury

An injury to the skin. Can include cuts, scratches, piercings, blisters, accidents...

A portmanteau word combining 'skin' and 'injury'.

'Damn, the rabbit just bit me. That's another skinjury to add to the collection after the scratches I got from him yesterday.'

'Check out my new skinjury - I got my my belly button pierced again!'

hero thing

It's a feeling you get when you've watched/heard/experienced something that makes you feel you're strong and tough enough to do anything.

It's commonly experienced at the end of a film that means a great deal to you. It can be a kind of empathy for a charactor or person or situation, sometimes it's a little bit pained. It's dosen't matter where the hero thing comes from.

It feels like butterflies in the bottom of your stomach, mixed with the tail end of being winded. And it takes only a word or lyric to remind you of the Hero thing.

The film Iron Man really had the hero thing.
