6-digit

An osu! player in the rank range 999,999 - 100,000, inclusive (i.e. having 6-digits in their rank). They are stereotypically terrible at the game despite being the top 5% of the player base.

6-digit: Hey, this map doesn't seem to represent the song that well.
4-digit: 6-digit NPC your opinion doesn't matter

Finals Curse

A term for a phenomenon in osu! where the US was unable to win the osu! World Cup (OWC) without performing a bracket reset. The curse was broken in 2019 when the US went crazy and obliterated everyone, defeating South Korea in the Grand Finals 7-0.
