The largest and most diverse city in America. With a population over 8 million, and a reputation for blunt honesty, graft and aggression, New York City is actually one of America's friendliest places, with a proud citizen base committed to cooperation. An excellent example is September 11th, 2001, when New Yorkers of all backgrounds automatically pulled together to rescue the injured, rebuild infrastructure, and provide America backbone to withstand the event.
New York City is the most talked-about, thought-about, and most-written and sung about city in the world. New songs, movies, television programs and plays are created about it daily. Moving to, surviving, then living well in New York City is nearly universally seen as "having arrived".
New Yorkers are brash, impulsive, good-natured and approachable. They like meeting people and are not shy about making new friends. Friendships can be struck up in public (i.e. on line for a bus, or at a bank) when two or more unrelated New Yorkers notice something unusual and make a (usually sarcastic) comment to one another.

A woman who is behaviorally lesbian in every way except that she sleeps heterosexually, e.g. with males. Very widespread now among women ages 32-45.

Fraudulent modern American method of surviving difficult economy. Most often utilized by persons age 25-38. The favorite trick of creative freelancers. You offer your services to a company or person perceived to have money. They of course do not hire you. You offer information or ideas via emails or phone calls they didn't ask you for. Then you start demanding pay for the above.
If they are smart and refuse to pay you, then you accuse them of a lie designed to hurt them, and email them an invoice that includes a threat that if they do not pay, you will spread lies about them on Google.
Don't laugh.
This is now widespread across America.
1. A company charges for what they perceive to be your fault (not being there, for instance) and then sends you an ambush invoice. They have not actually DONE anything.
2. You meet a group of freelancers for lunch. You don't hire any of them. They send you 1-3 emails during the following week asking questions about your project. Three days later, they invoice you. They have not actually DONE anything. You are being billed for the emails they sent you because they're about YOUR project, after all.
3. You ask a person a question on the phone. They answer you. It takes about 30 seconds. Three days to a week later, they invoice you $2500.
A type of stalker who fixates on someone, envies and sexually desires them, wishes to be them, wants to replace them, thus character assassinates them. Selects target randomly. Extremely persuasive, gifted at lying, usually has and spends prodigious energy upon target.
Habits: accuses target of being "a fraud" and "a liar" about background, achievements; projects own shortcomings on target (i.e., stalker did not finish college, thus accuses target "didn't actually attend X university, they are lying"); smear campaigns to discredit target; extreme hate language calling them "worthless", "unloved", etc., yet watches target as if number one fan. Usually from small town. Recruits and commands flying monkeys they will send on seek and destroy missions to help them against target. If caught, will try to charm and seduce catcher. If this fails they become violent.
When Accusing Stalker appears you will be called "delusional", a "liar" and a "fraud". This is because accusing stalkers suffer from a personality disorder, sometimes paired with schizophrenia, that creates the "my target will be me, so I am not me" delusion. Accusing stalkers have difficulty believing their target is not them because they wish they were the target and are ashamed of their own failures, which they believe fusion with the target will heal.
Do not pity the Accusing Stalker. This is an EXTREMELY dangerous personality. Their numbers are also on the rise.
"Jalene got off line for good last week."
"She did? Why?"
"An Accusing Stalker chick in Colorado started doing stuff. It was too much, she gave up and left the internet."
