Penguin Point

A point made in argument or conversation which makes no logical sense. Mostly made by persons of diminished mental capacity.

Penguin Points often are made from desperation when trying to beat a superior opponent.

Huna was so desperate to justify her use of 3rd person speech that she made a total Penguin Point which Matt was easily able to rebuff.

Monkey Point

A point made in argument which is reasonable, intelligent, and probably ends the discussion right then and there. There are no comebacks for Monkey Point.

Also: A synonym for 'logic'.

We were arguing about National Education, and then Matt made a Monkey Point, so I had no choice but to surrender to his superior logic.
