Na den

An East London expression to express discontent, often accompanied with a roll of the eyes.

1. " we are going to have a test today." The teacher looked incredibly sadistic. "Na den..." my friend rolled his eyes and put his legs on the desk. He was not happy.

2. "Is two times four six?" Fred asked. "Na den, it's eight boi."

Pret

short for the shop 'pret a manger' which in English means 'ready to eat' the entire City Of London (not London, the one with the guilds and famous walls) runs on this one shop and without it the business capital of the world would tick to a stop.

"I am going to pret for a chocolate filled croissant"
