When one has a deep deep longing to be someone's friend, often confused with a crush.

Mark: "Dude, I really feel like Trisha and me connect you know? I want to be close to her."
Jim: "Oh, so you want to be with her?"
Mark: "No no, not like that, in a totally platonic way."
Alex: "Oh, that's a pash."
