Shepherdstown

A small town settled along the Potomac River in West Virginia. It’s about fifteen minutes outside Martinsburg, WV, and is home to Shepherd University, formerly Shepherd college. The “strip” is German St, along which there are a number of shops, restaurants, and other businesses. The residential streets are picturesque and really embody old-time America. After all, it is the oldest town in West Virginia. Other features include a number of churches, the “tiny house,” and Rumsey Monument. The Bavarian Inn is a well-known lodging place and eatery just outside of the downtown region.
