if you can remember a time before the word chav became 'cool' and 'hip' for the BBC and other middle class/aged establishments to use, you may remember a time when a townie ruled the working class streets. they are
rude
aggressive
utterly unable to string a fully pronounced sentance together
wearing fake desinger clothing (ie FCUK/BURBERRY)
they hate moshers

when i say moshers though, i should clarify, the usual interpritation of a mosher is morbid, industrial loving grease monkeys who worship the devil and hang around gravestones. ok you may think im being a bit stereotypical, but this is what everyone thinks we are in the end! whereas a townies interpritation is anyone who
wears black
listrens to music with a guitar in it
stands up for what they believe in
has an identity.

in short i hate townies because they are narrow minded and stereotypical. but then again i am judging a group of people before i know them so im just as bad but dont wear fakes or steal/ intimidate.
