When an adult has a strong fondness or admiration for a child they know but aren't related to, like a daughter's friend. Analogous to a boy crush or a girl crush, it isn't necessarily romantic or sexual in any way.
A part of me really wanted to get to know this child better but I was certain that people would assume a child crush meant more than it really does.
A crush on someone from a previous decade or historical era, regardless of whether they are still alive today - Such a celebrity when they were younger in the 70's, or famous historical figure.
I have such a retro-crush on 1980's Harrison Ford.
An advanced crush is what two people would label their relationship when not yet a "thing" or they are not yet a couple, but they are not "just friends"
