1.) The largest city in the United States. Popular for tourism and boasts good food, low crime rates, and close proximity to other cities such as Philadelphia, Boston, and Washington, D.C.
2.) A state anyone who doesn't live there forgets that it exists. Residents of Upstate New York will have to clarify that they don't live in the city when they say "New York".

Generally where a lot of people don't get along and the same races of people populate similar area's, though this is in part due to economics and the fleeing white demographic. Once you get out into the cities, you will be harrassed for taking part in a order that isn't native to the 'worldy' area and this will lead too a mass frenzy of followers and snobs, only to be broken up by random moments of stupidity to gain social status and acceptance. Although the older slaves are pretty friendly.
In New York the people like to give you hints you're getting a clue.

The worst city in the United States. New Yorkers claim that outsiders "don't understand", but "not understanding" is an understatement. New York is a place where people walk when they shouldn't walk, shouldn't walk when they should, and pay more than a million dollars to live in neighborhoods like "The Village", that just a decade ago was considered "ghetto". The city of New York is, at best, a nice place to visit for a day or two, but no one would ever, EVER want to live there.
...except people from New Jersey, who would give their right testicular to be considered New Yorkers.
New York would be a great vacation spot, if it wasn't so noisy!

the BEST state ever!!! okay we know what real food taste like everyone knows that a bun is not the same as a bagel~our drinking water is the best~& our food just kicks ass~ if u correct someones grammer you'r a fag~Manthatten is called the city~we have a fucking attiude & we aint afraid 2 show it cause where fucking great~don't ever mess with a newyorker~the bronx, Brooklyn, Manhatten,Staten island, & Queens are the 5 borrows of NY~Jersey is like the 2nd NY but just ISN'T the same @ all~guys=if ur in love with a NY girl raise ur glasses if ur not raise ur standerds

1) The greatest city in the world. Hell, the ONLY city in the world. The City contains 5 boroughs: Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, The Bronx, and Staten Island.
2) Upstate New York, a lackluster farm area in New York State outside of the city. Includes, but is not limitod to, Longisland, Rockman's, Dutchiss, Pakipsy Adderrhondax, and Buffolloe.

An amazing state with more than just the city. Upstate new york does not include
longisland. It is a farming region of new york. Has beautiful scenery,
waterfalls, streams, rivers, ect. New york is the home of the real bagels and
real(new york style) pizza. It is also home of the new york coney island dog.
Has a strong dutch, italian, greek ancestry. Uses the word wicked. Has high
taxes is a expensive and ritzy area. And is beautiful. Yes there are quite a few
rude and uncivilized people. Is not nearly as racist as southern states(TEXAS).
Is very interested in fashion and keeping themselves looking nice.
I moved from new york to texas and was creeped out by their hospitality.
I want to flip off everyone that cuts me off becaus im from new york.
I hate southern states where they marry their sisters and cousins.
I say wicked.
Happy that when i moved back i was flipped off when i cut someone off.
