To "tip the bottle" is to make a mistake, usually drastic. The phrase derives its meaning from the idea that spilling a bottle of liquor or beer is a major fuck-up; tipping (or rather spilling) the bottle.
Tipping The Bottle: "Damn, Draco and Beau tipped the bottle again, I knew we couldn't trust them to do what we asked!"
Example:
Eric: "Yaa you shouldda been there yesterday. Totally got my snake in a bottle"
James: "Nah dude that's impossible. You a big virgin."
