Typically used in running; a term used to describe someone who is generally not improving in an activity. Used in Cross Country to describe a person who is not able to improve and(or) has not improved in several years.

Oh, he’ll never beat 20:00 minutes, he’s been pace-locked for three years.

Locked-In Syndrome

LIS also known as Locked-In Syndrome is a common disease where "quirky" and not always intelligent Generation Alpha children have every muscle in their body stop working and can only blink and look up and down. This includes but is not limited to: 3rd graders, 4th graders, 5th graders/ and select 6th graders.

Lock of Flack

Excessive teasing that leads to misspelling of common phrases. Oftentimes the teasee will get flustered and mix around words and letters to create a new variety with no meaning at all.

Tim was so upset by his colleagues teasing he complained he was getting a "lock of flack" at work.
