In RPG terminology it is a closed environment usually having many enemies and treasure. A Mega-Dungeon is very large and has 20 or more levels and has 500 rooms per level and up. The Largest known Mega-Dungeon has a full 1 million rooms.
Exploring a Mega-Dungeon in D&D(Dungeons & Dragons) is fun at an extreme level, providing that you have a good referee.
