A good way of losing thousands of Euros in double quick time by backing financial or sports markets to either rise or fall. You bet a (relatively) small amount per point of the index which can fluctuate by hundreds (or if you are (un)lucky thousands) of points within a few weeks. On the plus side, you can open and close your bet at any time - sometimes you might open a position which you could hold on to for as long as 3 or 4 months. If there is rapid activity in your favoured direction, you might get out within hours and take a small profit.
Two examples of spread betting:
1. Dow Jones 'March 2007' might have a spread as follows 11200-11215. If you think the market will go up you buy at 215 hoping it will end anywhere higher than this. If conversely you think that the market will go back into the 10,000s you 'Sell' and wait for the market to fall before closing your position.
2. Cricket bet. England 2nd innings of the 4th Test vs Pakistan. The spread might be something like 295-305. If you think England will score 400+ you might buy this position at 1 Euro per run. If they score 405 you win 100 Euros.
When someone says this they mean that they agree. They are excited and ready to do what they're going to do. It is a phrase often used by people who are very confident in themselves.

A bet where no money or property is involved, and the prize for losing is getting to slap the loser across the face. Excellent for bets of extreme importance.
A slap bet is often monitored by a slap bet commissioner, that regulates the rules of said bet.
"Joe cried after he lost his slap bet"
"In a matter of this importance, only a slap bet will do"

A bet exclusively for boys. The simple terms are that the winner gets to hit the loser in the balls. Very high stakes bet which few dare to take.
Example 1:
Jon: What happened to Max? Why is he on the floor?
Mitch: Oh he just lost a balls bet with me
Example 2:
Austin: Balls bet that I can beat this level.
Ben: Deal.
Austin: *beats level*
Ben: Shit. Wait-not too hard-aaawwwww!
A drinking game where everyone has their alcoholic mixed drink or shot. One person starts off with the tv remote and must flip through 10 channels. If he or she sees a black woman on a channel that you flipped through you must take or shot or drink and yell "Fuck You!" and pass the remote off to the next player and he then flips through ten channels and so on. You do not take a drink or shot if you do not see a black woman.
Guy: "I got so drunk playing bet shots i couldnt tell if that was a fickin man or woman."
Guy 2: "haha yeah dude you had fuckin beer goggles."
