1. A person who hates System of a Down, generally because they think the music is trite, uninspired, and sophomoric. While some people fall into this category simply because they hate anything popular, most people will say that the benal noodling that is often mistaken for real music and the pseudo-intellectual lyrics are the reason they dislike this band.
2. A name also thrown out by fans for anyone who says "Who?" when System of a Down is mentioned.

a person who has never heard real music before. if you dislike system of a down, the fan would say you are 1. "too stupid to understand the lyrics" 2. "a mainstream simple plan-loving shithead." (all the while not realizing system of a down IS mainstream music)

An idiot who is a notch above Journey fans on the intellectual totem pole. He’ll believe anything the band will say is incredibly deep and insightful, even if the lyrics contain "Wake up/Grab a brush and put on a little make up/You wanted to!"

-Bad Grammar
-Poor spelling
-Belief that their opinions are the only ones that matter
-Will threaten the life of anyone who doesn't believe SOAD is the best band EVAR
-Unable to create a compelling argument as to WHY they consider System of a Down good (Argument will contain the words "fag", "hell", or "deep, man."
Your average System of a Down Fan: "SOAD RULE!! who every tinks otherwise should be sent to hell and stay there for eternity because of their crimes against nature because system of a down rule."

Idiots who think hust because a song is trying to make a political point it sounds good. Generaly instigated by a lack of an educated taste in music, or inspired by peers and therefore sanctified as "cool".System of a down is repetative meaningless bullshit. Often the fans dont care about the political points and like the screaming and emo-like crap.

system of a down is an armenian-american band formed in glendale california in 1994. members: serj tankian (lead vocalist, keyboards) daron malakian (guitar, vocals), shavo odadjian (bass, backing vocals), and john dolmayan (drums), who replaced original drummer andy khachaturian. their most popular songs are toxicity (from the toxicity album), chop suey (toxicity), sugar (self titled), and B.Y.O.B. (mezmerize). their genre is considered nu-metal, or prog metal, although they don't like to stick with a genre and just do whatever they want. many people call them "poser metal", but that isn't the case at all. they just do as they want. not all metal has to be thrash, there are many different metal sub-genres. in their songs, they sing about genocides, suicide, drugs, politics, etc. i really suggest listening to them! if you want to learn more about them, you should read their wiki page.
