la-L.A. land

A heady "unicorns and rainbows" state of mind regarding Hollywood's famous neighboring city.

With a dozen major-league teams in da "Eternal Spring" megalopolis, it's easy to drift into la-L.A. land if you're either a huge sports fan or are into athlete-type trading-cards.

La La Land

Originally from the 2017 Academy Awards Oscar, La La Land means that something turns out to be different from what you think or from what you already heard. It could also be used like "kidding" "hooked".

Are you La La Landing me?
I was La La Landed by the 2017 Academy Awards Oscar.

La La Land

Someone who is out of touch with reality as in being in their own world.

Someone unaware of their surroundings, either due to lack of intelligence or simply because they are sleeping.

Examples of people like this are, Forest Gump, Kimchee, Weish on night and day shift, and so on.
People also tend to go to La La Land in Macs basement, so be careful of your surroundings.

DAMA was not aware of what La La Land was because he himself was in La La Land.

oysters of the land

A term to describe pistachio nuts.
With their shells, the way they are eaten and their morish nature, "oysters of the land" has become an apt description for pistachios.

"Pistachios truly are the oysters of the land" ...*slurp*.

I am going to buy myself some oysters of the land.
