Shanghai Shake

Shanghai Shake.

1. Noun. A post move commonly used by the 7' 6" NBA basketball superstar center, Yao Ming. Consists of faking the defender one way and then following with a fadeaway going the opposite direction.

The move has many drawbacks however, if executed poorly, you could contract a tumor. There are other rare, but serious cases in which a man executed the move poorly and broke every bone in his left leg. Needless to say, he never recovered from the injury.

The move however, if executed perfectly, can severely injure the opposing player (if done to an NBA player). If the move is executed on an average person, then he will most likely be killed.

Example 1 - *Yao Ming does a perfect Shanghai Shake on Shaq*

Shaq: OH MY GOD!!! AHAHHHHAHAHH!!! I'M GOING BLIND!

Example 2 - *Yao Ming does a perfect Shanghai Shake on random person*

Random Person: WHAT THE HE-- *seizure*

doobie shake

a handshake where the pinkies are locked during the exchange of a doobie (joint) from one to another

Laurenz: "hey, what is this cool way passing the joint?"

Steve: "oh, that? We call it the doobie shake. You interlock your pinkies to pass the doobie. Would you like to try?"

Spider Shake

The spider shake, mostly used by teenagers, is the act of picking up and violently shaking an article of clothing before wearing to remove any spiders which may be hiding inside. This is necessary if the article of clothing was stored in a particularly messy place.

Mother: "Alex! I just saw a brown recluse crawl out of that pile in your closet, be careful getting dressed!"

Alex: "it's fine, I always use the spider shake."
