Surreal Estate

Refers to property that exists in the virtual world, that which is "unreal," as opposed to "real" property that exists in the corporeal world. The earliest usage of the term was as the title of the 1976 film "Surreal Estate" (originally titled "SΓ©rail") by Eduardo de Gregorio. Now it is used to refer to property that exists on the World Wide Web (e.g. domains, websites). It has also been used to refer to real estate that is owned by the rich and famous.

Example 1: Facebook.com is a prime piece of surreal estate.

Example 2: I have retained the services of a surreal estate agent to help me sell my website for a huge profit.

Example 3: I am a surreal estate broker in Second Life.

grill estate

The amount of surface area on a grill for cooking, most likely an outdoor grill. An exhaustable resource that is essential to any hit party where long periods of alcohol consumption will leave party attendees stricken with unquenchable hunger

Dude were we gonna invite John and Alan over for this banging ass house party?

Nah we really don't have the grill estate to fit ANY more food on this grill. Besides. They are douchebags

Yeah, no grill estate shall be wasted on such

Real estate

A market for people to make money off people that want a place to live.

People and entities involved in real estate benefit the most from an influx of outsiders moving to an area, so of course they want high census counts and little to no resistance to their plan.

UNreal Estate

UNreal estate is a social term which describes the process through which a shady broker, landlord or property manager uses fictional or false information when listing anything permanently affixed to the land, such as buildings, specifically property that is fixed in location, for sale or rent on classified ads placed within the public realm. Said process could involve the offering of property which is not available (otherwise known as bait and switch), listing false characteristics of a property or just completely fabricating an entire listing.

Craigslist is so packed with UNreal estate garbage ads these day that I might have never found an apartment if it weren't for the Loftninja!

screen estate

A variation on the concept of real estate, screen estate is the total display area of the monitor(s) connected to a computer, and a subject of bragging rights for computer geeks. Like with real estate, the more/bigger, the better: computer geeks agree that you can never have too much screen estate.

Have you seen his gaming rig? Three 24" monitors: dude's got some serious screen estate!

Fourth Estate

The term Fourth Estate refers to the press, both in its explicit capacity of advocacy and in its implicit ability to frame political issues. The term goes back at least to Thomas Carlyle in the first half of the 19th century.

None of our political writers ... takes notice of any more than three estates, namely, Kings, Lords, and Commons ... passing by in silence that very large and powerful body which form the fourth estate in this community ... The Mob.3
