v. To "get your shit in one sock" means to get organized, to "pull yourself together," to regain your composure. Having to use more than one sock to hold a given volume of feces is considered wasteful and inefficient, if by careful planning a single sock would do the trick. Thus, the essence of this phrase is a metaphor for thriftiness.
"Listen: you've been absent from class five days, you never turn in your homework on time, you refuse to take your Ritalin like a good boy, and your foul language is out of control! It is time to sit down one-on-one with the guidance counselor and get your shit in one sock, young man."

To lose control of one's behaviour, to the point of verbal and/or physical aggression.
We've had to deal with quarantine protocols for a week and all residents have had to remain in their suites with no visitors. Some of the residents that have more advanced Dementia are losing their shit. They're becoming physically aggressive. But to lose one's shit comes more easily with quarantine than one would otherwise think
Rocking one's shit is a term used when someone is looking particularly attractive. Usually when they're wearing something that makes them feel or seem more attractive. However, it can be used for someone who simply looks uncharacteristicly good by some random unintentional force
Forms of "Rocking One's Shit":
"I totally feel like I'm rocking my shit today."
"Dude, Amber is totally rocking her shit! Did you see that outfit?"

Originated in Milwaukee, Wi. The term means to dance for once in front of a large group of people. Banging is a type of dance, you'd have to live in Milwaukee to know what it is.
