The Kratzer Effect is a phenomenon that occurs when a contradictory inquiry truly has no solution
"If you put ice in coffee, when you drink it will it be cold or hot?"
"Well, the ice makes it cold. But, the coffee is already hot. The Kratzer Effect strikes again."
The Lego Effect is a strange phenomenon in which a person actively searches for something they need at a specific moment and despite the fact that they have seen the object in question 20 times when they did not need it, they are unable to find it at the time it is needed.

You and your friends are talking about pizza, and someone else walks in the room who couldn't hear your conversation, and says "Damn, I want some pizza."
When someone else mentions something from a past conversation, without having been a part of it, or overhearing it.
"YO! WE WERE JUST TALKING ABOUT THAT! That's the Maftan Effect."
Is a person who will embody or conform his/her attire, attitude, style, to a group, so they can fit in at that particular moment.

Something that happens to Jews that are shomer Shabbat. Essentially, what happens is that because they can’t turn on/off lights on Shabbat, they become very hesitant of doing so during the week, and begin to always hesitate before flipping a light switch
Joseph: **reaches for light switch, then hesitates, then flips it**

When an individual farts in a body of water.

When you know exactly what is going to happen in a TV show/movie, but you get emotional about it anyways.
Person A: "I knew from the beginning that Taiga and Ryuuji get together at the end of 'Toradora', but I cried all the same."
