Get off your high horse

"Get off your high horse" is an idiom people retort with in an argument when the other person is acting like a holier-than-thou being when in reality, they aren't. To put it in a simpler manner, to tell people to stop acting as if they're the top authority when they aren't.

Person A: "I am completely entitled to go around dismissing people when they do something completely normal just because they're wrong and I'm ultimately right."

Person B: "Get off your high horse."

The woman says: β€œoh please ...get off your high horse. I am just no longer interested”!

Man: β€œI am not looking for a serious relationship but love seeing you”
Woman: is this guy crazy or what ? Who wants a relationship with you?! Sonshe says: β€œ oh please... get off your high horse. Relationship?! I am not interested in you anymore. Stop texting me”

Take back your fuckin horse

To tell somebody else to "take back YOUR fuckin horse" means for that person to take back a problem they have cast upon you, without your willing consent.

When you throw or cast YOUR problem(s) onto somebody else, just to get that trash away, it will come back. The "Horse" is the problem, it can be anything that is causing issues for you, and you dont want anymore.

So to truely take back the horse, means the other person you cast it on, is fed up with having that shit on them, and they feel its time for you to deal with the problem, not just give to others.

Frank thinks: "Im fuckin tired of Betty always hitting on me, why wont that ulgy slut leave me alone!"
____The next Day___

Fred: "Hey Betty, i felt it was time for me to finnaly treat you right, so im gona hook you up with the coolest guy i know. trust me, he fucks like a tiger. His name is Tom."

Betty: "O hell ya, i havnt got laid in weeks, thanks ^_^"
::::::::Next day:::::::
Betty: "Hey tom, wanna fool around, im so horny right now"

Tom thinks: "Damnit Frank, i dont want this slut on me now -"TAKE BACK YOUR FUCKIN HORSE"-

Get off your high horse

A line people use when they get confronted directly for acting like a cunt to try to save face. It is normally used on people of equal or lower social standing and not generally used on people with power or authority. It is a pre-packaged response designed to win over the crowd or turn the tables and doesn't actually have any bearing on who is right or wrong.

Person 1: "Did you see Mark trying to hide his hair loss? It's so obvious."
Person 2: "Making fun of people's looks is kinda lame."
Person 1: "Get off your high horse."
