jersey bump

A method of parallel parking in which the parker rams both the car in front and behind it, then settles in the middle.

Usually seen in the hood where little regard is given to one's hooptie.

Terry pulled into the spot and jersey bumped the shit out of the car in front of him, making the alarm go off.

A great place with mostly friendly people. South Jersey is lovely. Lots of expensive Housing developments. Lots of pretty little victortian towns too. Theres nothing like the Jersey Shore or Jersey Tomatoes! Lots of emo is from Jersey. Jersey has a good local punk scene, ive heard too.

Mmm Jersey Tomatoes.

jersey glide

The reverse action of a Jersey Slide when upon entering a highway you travel from the on-ramp to the far left lane in one swift motion.

I performed a perfect jersey glide to get around the idiots who don't know how to merge with the flow of traffic.

Jersey douche

The act of sweaty-crotched female New Yorkers walking over a subway grate as the train goes by, generating a waft of air up their dress/skirt/shorts that temporarily cools off their crotch.

I smell like a bad tuna sandwich - walk with me over to Canal street so I can grab a quick Jersey douche before the party.

New Jersey

Ummm..try New Jersey has the highest per capita wealth of any state (that's right more than NY or CT) And of course, we respect NY, a lot of us go into the city very often, and New Jersey is very classy. We have classic prep towns like Ridgewood and lots of celebrities live in Saddle River, among other towns. Bergen County is among the richest in the country and we may be a suburb, but we're close enough to cities like Hoboken that there's something going on all the time. Plus, we have a whole bunch of NY sports teams playing in NJ, like the Jets, Giants, etc. Please respect New Jersey, we respect you guys.

Most of us who live here think that NJ is a great place to live! Our schools are among the best in the nation, and we have an abundance of fresh air and trees! We're centrally located so we can enjoy the splendor of many states, NY and CT amongst the many.

New Jersey

A geographically and culturally diverse east coast state that is often overshadowed by New York and Philly. New Jersey has many appealing tourist spots and is not given the credit that it deserves. There are, however, a few scary places in New Jersey, such as Camden, with the country's highest murder rate, and the Pine Barrens, where a little critter called the Jersey Devil eats helpless and stranded tourists with flat tires on New Jersey's Route 72.

North Jersey

First off north jersey is COMPLETELY DIFFERENT FROM SOUTH JERSEY. Most people in south jersey complain about how they hate north jersey and our nyc similarities and think we should be a separate state.. but hey, having south jersey and north jersey as separate states sounds just as great for us too.
A lot of people in north jersey have a North Jersey accents, not New York accents, because that dosn't make sense; we just have very simaler accents to the NYC accent.

We dont usually get too worked up about why south jersey hates that we love our vicinity to NYC and we root there teams, and they also call us wanna-be's but, im going to be the first one to say, what about there obsession with Philadelphia? is that any different of us liking NYC?

We have better food than south jersey, better shopping than south jersey, and we put sprinkles on our ice cream after we have hero.
because having hoagie and ice cream with jimmy's on them makes me sound like a Eagles fan! no one likes losing.

And we also have a very mixed diversity of cultures and races. And people call North Jersey all stuck up and rich.. WRONG, i love how south jersey act as if Newark, Irvington, Paterson, and Jersey City dont exist because those are one of the most populated cities in this state and are the cities that have the lowest incomes in the state.. but we're thankful for those cities. At least we have large urban areas so we dont have to depend everything on New York like you south jerseyians do with Philadelphia.

And we have a few New Jersey teams, and us North Jersey people root for them, but you south jersey peopl continue to worship the Phili flyers other then the NJ Devils. New Jersey is your state not Pennsylvania.

I mean the only thing worth while in south jersey is the shore. And if we piss you off so much being there, then move to Pennsylvania because NJ is a whole.

But North Jersey is better.
We talk with a simaler accent to NY
We love all our malls
We Root the few NJ teams we have
And we travel to south jersey only for the shore.

North Jersey; we have the biggest city in the county next door, why worry if we dont have Philadelphia nearby.
