A mess child is someone who simply does not have their life in order. They drink excessively and never know when to stop. They are often in trouble with their parents and are often thought to be less favourable than other siblings. Mess children tend to get themselves in dangerous situations without realising the consequences. Mess children are avoided when they are drunk as they tend to cause drama and chaos.

Middle children are either rejected by their parents or completely forgotten. Many parents don’t remember the middle child’s name and struggle remembering their birthday. The middle child is often a goon of the older child seeking approval from somebody.
