dynamic programming

In computer science, dynamic programming (short: DP) is a method for reducing the runtime of algorithms exhibiting the properties of overlapping subproblems and optimal substructure.

Mathematician Richard Bellman invented dynamic programming in 1953. The field was founded as a systems analysis and engineering topic which is recognized by the IEEE.

The problem looks too hard to solve - it must be dynamic programming!

IB Program

"International Baccalaureate Programme". An internationally recognized program for academically gifted high school students. Similar to AP, however some may argue that it is more challenging and more unified. This program has special requirements for the students and to get the "IB Diploma," a student must be taking enough HL and SL courses chosen from 6 different categories. In addition, each student must take Theory of Knowledge (TOK) and complete the Extended Essay. Students enrolled in this program will generally be accepted into difficult colleges because they are impressed by the super sacred IB seal that will be attached to the first page of the student's transcript.

IB Program student 1: "Hey, wanna hear a joke?"
IB Program student 2: "Sure!"
IB Program student 1: "AP classes!"

austerity program

(ECONOMICS) when a government has to restructure spending by massively cutting social programs, development programs, and subsidies on basic necessities. Often accompanied by taxes increases, especially on lower incomes (since the poor cannot escape tax hikes).

Usually we use the term "austerity program" when the government in question has to backtrack on its ideological commitments. An example of this is France, after June 1982. The Socialist government of Mitterrand had just implemented a raft of major new social welfare programs, and was promptly forced to cut everything back when the deficit ballooned.

programming language

A language created to write codes, that can make computers do things you don't want to.

Despite the belief, that some programming language is always the best choice, it's not. I can't make C++ write a website, or make JavaScript to build a open world 3D game, so stop the debate. If your goal is to work for a small company then JAVA or C# is your best bet. If you want to design games and media then learn C++. If you want to work for a big Fortune 100 company or for the government then learn COBOL. If you are interested in computer science and want to write utilities, operating systems, or compilers then choose C or assembly language.

The Epsilon Program

The Epsilon Program is a religion followed by many people in the name of Kifflom. The 3 most known followers are John Smith, John Smith, and Chris Farmidge, who is the leader of the program.
Activities include: praying while being talked to by cops, pointing at a planes contrails and sometimes saying "kifflom", making a job offer to a just-assaulted store clerk, and being pulled over by cops and being talked to by them for multiple hours on a main road.

"Brother, would you like to join the Epsilon Program?" "Uhhh no thanks" "You will be sacrificed in the name of chris for rejecting."

Programming Zit

When you sit too long slinging code, and you get a zit on your ass, therefore making it hard to get a project done.

if (asscheek =~ /zit/) {

coding->squirm_in_discomfort();

}

else {

pop->that_bitch();

}

print "programming zit dealt with\n";
