What Canadians say when they mean both the United States and Canada together, usually not including Mexico. Americans typically use this word to describe all of the US, Canada, and Mexico together, and usually only when in geography class.
American: Who's that guy?
Canadian: He's one of the best lumberjacks in all of North America.
American: Really? The whole continent? I didn't think that there were any lumberjacks in Mexico.
Canadian: Oh, I just mean in Canada and the US.

C. The majority's educated opinion.
Sufferers of the America(n) Complex believe that rather than being the single person who is wrong, everyone else must be wrong. They often feel that others are inferior for not having realized what their delusions have characterized as sensible.
Many examples of the America Complex are appropriately found in daily American culture and teachings:
"Christopher Columbus discovered America."
"The Wright Brothers were first to fly a plane."
"Global warming is a myth."
"Socialism is like Communism."
"The Bush Administration had nothing to do with plotting 9/11. Power does not corrupt. No one in our government would kill for power."

Constantly making fun of and criticizing policies and problems in the United States. Mostly done by ungrateful citizens who don't realize how much the US has helped them and how many rights they have due to previous hardworking Americans.

Person 2: Yo shut up, if you hate America so much then go back to where you came from, and stop taking the welfare and opportunities our government has been giving you.
