A Tendency of kids that listen to nu hardcore Music, to stand in the middle of the standing area and do things such as "windmills" and punch the air.
It is said that this is them expressing themselves. In actuallity, the idea of a "pit" is for people who have a lot of energy built up because of the band playing, to volunarily go in and flip out and beat the crap out of eachother. Yet
It is a positive thing and no one actually intentionally hits one another.
In the case of hardcore dancing. its one person arrogantly throwing their body parts around, and in many cases, hitting people that want nothing to do with them. Hard core dancing is frowned upon in the hardcore punk/ crust community because it is not seen as a way of truly enjoying the music..
Hardcore dancing is mad ridic...

The most ridicolous genre of music ever, which the world would probably be a much better place without. Originaly used in the 80s as a term for side-projects or 2nd bands of ex-members of well known hardcore bands, it has now become a stupid new fad defining a genre of music which has already been defined millions of times as pop punk, emo, hardcore, fattycore, etc.
A: Hey you want a bacon sandwhich?
B: Bacon sandwhich? wtfzzz, it's all about corned beef now yo.
Replace Bacon sandwhich with emo, and corned beef with post hardcore.
You get ma drift?

It all starts with punk rock, see, and rock 'n roll. From rock 'n roll spawned a style of music called "hard rock" which is basically rock 'n roll but deeper. When hard rock is blended with punk rock, we get hardcore rock which essentially pre-emo punk rock with heavier rhythms. Also spawning from rock 'n roll and classical music we get metal. Now, when we blend hardcore with metal, we get "metalcore" which is hardcore but with harmony elements and the occassional guitar solo. Now it gets complicated. When we blend hard rock with metal, we get thrash metal. If we take thrash metal, add some more emo and myspace, and blend it with hardcore rock, we get "post hardcore" which can very very easily be confused with screamo. The main difference between post hardcore and screamo is that in post hardcore, the singer still "sings" but doesn't go into a crying fit at some point during the song. Now, there is one more style that is left un-discussed. A style called "hXc'mo" (prounounced "aytch ex see mo". I'm not quite sure, but I think that hXc'mo is the product of blending screamo and post hardcore...that's the only logical way I can figure this shit out.
Classifying post hardcore and all these different music genres was a real bitch.

hip hop which originated from the west coast. lyrics are usually violent. some famous artists of hardcore rap are DMX, Public Enemy, Ice T, and the Wu Tang Clan.

wrong again! all the hXc kids in ohio knows it's only those emo pussies with their track jackets an hair over one eye dude! im hXc and sXc and ive been to some pretty sick local shows, from newark to columbus to hebron, heath, zanesville, even one in dayton. they have bands like kill whitney dead, a waking nightmare, above this fire, waking kills the dream, dead to fall etc. shows and at only one show did anyone that had the balls to get in a pit have hair over one eye and he admitted to being emo!! youve got the first half right, most hXc's have gauged ears and tight(usu. girl pants, if not dickies or tan cargo shorts.)pants, but most wear a tight as fuck hardcore band t-shirt and a zip-up hoodie. most ive met wear skate shoes like DC, or vans or chucks some wear older shoes tho.
