AK-47

An assault rifle developed in Russia by Mikial Kalashnikov, fires 7.62x39mm ammunition and is the most widespread firearm of the 20th century. It is so simple my 10 year old brother could use it. Requires very little cleaning.

The AK-47 can be dragged through dirt, and without any sort of cleaning whatsoever can still fire.

ak-47

Of all the weapons in the vast Soviet arsenal, nothing is more profitable than the Avtomat Kalashnikova model of 1947...more commonly known as the AK-47, or Kalashnikov.

It's the world's most popular assault rifle. A weapon all fighters love.

An elegantly simple, 9 pound amalgamation of forged steel and plywood. It doesn't break, jam, or overheat. It'll shoot whether it's covered in mud or filled with sand.

It's so easy and simple, even a child can use it; and they do. The Soviets put the gun on a coin. Mozambique put it on their flag.

Since the end of the Cold War, the Kalashnikov has become the Russian people's greatest export. After that comes vodka, caviar, and suicidal novelists.

The AK-47 is undoubtedly the most influential and widespread firearm ever produced.

Mikhail Kalashnikov's legacy to the world, will not be forgotten for quite some time.

Agent 47

The main character in the assassination-themed Hitman video game series. An unmistakably enigmatic contract killer, he says little, yet is capable of a lot. Gone through many fatal situations, Agent 47 is often thought of as an end-all figure or angel of death. Dressed up in his black suit and red tie, (as well as also being recognizably bald), he sustains a clean elegance and is revered for his fiber wire skills, weapon marksmanship and high payouts at the termination of his targets. Did I mention he once disarmed a nuclear bomb?

Sneaking up behind the guard, Agent 47 readied his anaesthetic and struck with lightning speed. Taking the uniform off the sleeping guard and hiding the body, Agent 47 continued his mission with a temporary deception to further gain access to his target.

an insanely clever song by 3oh!3. neatfreak 47 is code name for an AK47 and it goes in to great detail about how an assassin is a freak about cleanliness because he doesn't want to leave any trail. crazy clever song.

ak 47

A potent strain of marijuana. Named because the AK stands for Afghan Kush, a mountain range in afghanistan where the strain originated. The 47 refers to the approximate 47 day flowering period, which is a shorter flowering period than most strains of marijuana.

All of the euros and little wigger kids who submitted a definition of AK 47 (the marijuana strain)to this site are morons and don't know what they are talking about.

AK-47

The AK-47 is a 7.62 x 39mm assault rifle designed by Mikhail Timofeevich Kalashnikov in 1947, hence its name. It was an outstanding firearm for its time, although was let down to a certain extent by its stamped steel receiver. In 1959, the '47 evolved into the AKM, which is the most common Kalashnikov found today. Visible differences between the AK-47 and AKM are a slanted muzzle and recesses over the magazine housing.

Although frequently compared with the M16, because of their interaction in the Vietnam War, the AK-47 is more comparable to the M14, whereas the M16 is compared with the newer AK-74. The light-support weapon designed from the AK-47 is the RPK.

Quick, shoot that terrorist before he waxes you with his AK-47.

AK-47

The AK-47 (contraction of Russian: Автомат Калашникова образца 1947 года; Avtomat Kalashnikova obraztsa 1947 goda; "Kalashnikov's automatic rifle model of year 1947") is a 7.62 mm assault rifle developed in the Soviet Union by Mikhail Kalashnikov in two versions: the fixed stock AK-47 and the AKS-47 (S—Skladnoy priklad) variant equipped with an underfolding metal shoulder stock.

Design work on the AK began in 1944. In 1946 the rifle was presented for official military trials, and a year later the fixed stock version was introduced into service with select units of the Red Army (the folding stock model was developed later).
