a feeling of the world turning its back against you. No one to turn to but the bottle of alcohol to your left and the crackpipe to your right. Getting into your car and driving at 100 m/hr with nothing to fear but living another day in misery. Why wont it end. why?

when all the air is sucked out of your lungs in one moment
and as you try to gasp for air, depression pulls you back under.
"whats depression like"
"It's like drowning, and you're screaming at the people who walk past you, but they don't even realize that you're slowly dying."

Ants that help you when you are sad. They may be therapy ants, or just good friend ants. Either way, they are ants. This is not to be confused with the medically prescribed anti depressants. These are just for any person who feels down.
Person 1: I'm feeling sad..
Person 2: Are you okay?
Person 1: yeah.. My depressants will help me.
Something that can happen to anyone at anytime. It can happen for no reason at all. A feeling that is not only emotional but physical too. Not only do you feel sad, upset, emotional, lost, worthless, empty, like theres no hope, but it physically hurts too. Tight feeling in your lungs, body aches, painful. Something so hard to describe. So much more than just a mental illness. If you've never suffered it then you never understand. You feel as though theres no where to turn. Your surrounded by so many people yet you've never felt more alone in the world.
Jamie's friends did not understand why she constantly slept, they didn't know she was depressed.
Jake abused drugs, alcohol, and himself to numb his depression and forget his problems.

depression: a thought the wraps itslef around you and wont let go. suffocating you, till you feel as if you no longer live. breathing becomes something you wish you could stop. noting feels right, good, or makes you happy. you feel alone, alone no matter how many people you surrond yourself with. you want to die, curl up in a ball and dissapear into the floor, the only thought on your mind is death and your funeral. you dream of the day your one wish could come true. you feel darkness all the time, ther is no differnce between day and night anymore. you cant feel anymore, your numb, you ache for soem sort of human feeling, but theres nothing, cutting is the only thing that almost keeps you sane. and eveyone wants to take it away. dont they understand? its the one thing thatr i look forward to, the one thig that keeps me alive, without it i will kill myslef. no. i will kill myslef either way. and when i dont succeed they lock me up saying that i can be let loose in society! my depression is to big and strong now, theres nothing you can do anymore to make it stop. the only way is death, and thats the only way i know that for sure this pain will truly end.
Im so depressed, i just want to sink into the floor.

A reasonable psychological response to the reality of humanity.
The starving children, pointless wars and general insanity of it all demands depression in all but the insane.
