street punk is a form of music for those who are working class or poor. those who dont fit in that catagory cannot relate to a street punks lyrics because they are not part of that lifestyle. street punks are usually alcoholics who drown lifes injustices with beer almost every day. drug use is most common aswell. the appearance of a street punk is deceiving, you may think that they look mean or stupid but in reality they are some of the nicest people who want the same things to happen in the world as any other decent human wants such as fair justice, unity and peace without war. they usually wear tight pants, leather jackets and boots. people think that punks are ignorent but its the opposite, when a punk walks by and hears a group of people call him a fag or freak this is ignorant not what the punk does in response to this. most punks dislike other punks they dont know (its ignorant and unexplainable)*PEOPLE WHO GO TO SCHOOL AND LIVE WITH THERE PARENTS DONT KNOW SHIT ABOUT STREET PUNK*its also common for street punk groups to sell out their roots at some point in their career contradicting what they once sang about.

Across the street

Also known as when someone(emo) cuts themselves across the wrist.
Emo kids usually do it because they want to die, but truthfully that is not a very productive way to do it.

This is where the term "Down the road, not across the street." (also variated with alley and stream/river) originated.

Cutting yourself across the street will just be painful. Chances are it won't kill you, unless you're a hemophiliac. You can still do it if you are emo enough to prove you're hardcore.

When will they learn!? Cutting across the street does nothing! Down the road, all the way!

street brinkmanship

When the tensions between two or more rival gangs reaches a critical point in which the outcomes of any violent act would be devastating to all parties.

In the early 1990s, when Whitey's control over street gangs was much more pronounced, the main fear during a situation of Street Brinkmanship was that violence would spill into the suburbs and cause the hammer of the white devil to fall from the sky. As a result, Street Brinkmanship was maintained through the practice of having satellite affiliate gangs perform indirect attacks on gang assets through much milder warfare. The warfare was often set up to look like "some crackhead" got his hands on a gun and blew a whole bunch of motherfuckers away.

Into the early 2000s, however, Whitey's control over street gang activities became less obvious (although farther reaching and exponentially more sophisticated). Only the most intelligent gang members were able to steer their "Ghetto Pirate Ships" through the webs of deceit that were woven by evil "Prime Movers" who governed the urban underworld from back rooms in sinister-looking high-rises. It was imperative, therefore, for all gangs to protect the unsettled peace that was imposed upon them for fear of repercussions unimaginable to mortal men.

An activity popular among the import crowd that involves meeting and racing cars late at night on deserted roads.

Typically, the cars one will see at a modern street race are imports, though some domestics may attend as well.

Most of the drivers racing at such events are idiots with rich parents. Such idiots rarely buy their own cars, more often than not it is the aforementioned rich parents who do so, also paying for every penny of insurance, gas, and extra money which ends up in useless and performance-detrimental modifications such as a 'fartcan' mufflers.

Idiots who street race have claimed many lives, including their own. With the advent of films glorifying street racing, such as 'The Fast And The Furious' and its sequel, '2 Fast 2 Furious', street racing activity amongst young morons has exponentially increased.

Due to street racing, insurance rates for young drivers have dramatically increased all over North America. Thanks, assholes!
