The generic American accent Australian film and TV actors learn, making them conspicuously foreign against their native American co-stars. Having no obvious dialectic influence from any particular state or region results in them learning a US from what they've heard on TV and film, thus perpetuating the Generican accent as its own "Springfield" of American accents.
It's so distracting hearing Russell Crowe's generican accent every time he has a line. Where the hell is his character supposed to be from?
An inhabitant and fervent supporter of Generica. Specifically slaves to consumerism, whose goal in life is to keep up with the Jones', and non-independent thinkers.
I'm proud to be a Generican
Where at least I know I'm free,
And I won't forget the men who died
Who gave that right to me,

Generic Americans. Also known as Canadians. If countries were like pharmaceuticals, Canada would be the generic version of America. They look the same, yet there is something slightly off about them.
Crazy Genericans. Somebody should build a fence along the border to keep them out! They're more of a threat than our neighbors to the south!
