Glinner

A label used to refer to someone who takes the notion of dismissing people with differing opinions as a nazi without any evidence of such to extremes. Often dishonestly in a bid to score points with far left commentators.

Did you see Omid Djalali's meltdown on Twitter? Throwing "Nazi" around for fun; he's turned into a proper Glinner.

going Glinner

Going Glinner means to piss it all up the wall for ALL the wrong reasons.

Named after the former TV personality Graham Linehan (who goes by the online moniker "Glinner"), whose wife divorced him and took the kids and house because of his descent into unhinged transphobic rants, and who had a musical production canceled because he doubled down on it all. Instead of realizing that maybe he'd gone a little too far and lost a little too much, he instead exemplifies all the negative connotations of "in for a penny, in for a pound" and continues to dig in and ratchet up the hateful nonsense.

Everyone makes mistakes. People occasionally double down on them. But until you've literally destroyed your career and your family and still refuse to own all your mistakes, you aren't going Glinner.

Ye is on the cusp of going Glinner as he devolves into anti-Semitic nonsense and has gotten (allegedly) over $1 billion worth of contracts canceled, but time will tell whether he continues on this path and goes full Glinner, or if he backs off the hateful rhetoric to salvage his career and name.

Glinnerism

A type of rabid, unhinged transphobia/spreading of misinformation on trans people that is so severe that one fixates on it above all other priorities in life, including friends, family and well-being. A reference to ex-comedy writer Graham 'Glinner' Linehan, who lost his wife and kids for being unable to stop tweeting about trans people.

"Lots of people are descending into Glinnerism these days, and fast."
